Covid Wedding Planning

Updated: Dec 4, 2020

Well, it's been quite a year, hasn't it? And, if you're planning a wedding, I can only imagine how this has impacted you. My heart goes out to you and all of the numerous couples who have had to postpone or change their wedding plans this year. Here at Blush, we believe that #loveisnotcancelled and encourage our couples to #postponedon'tcancel! We've been blessed to witness so many beautiful, intimate ceremonies this year by couples who have chosen to adapt and go ahead with their nuptials, albeit in a slightly different manner. At the end of the day, it's really about the two of you, and whether you decide to elope, or simply downsize your wedding this year and celebrate in a bigger way next year, it's all about you, and the love that you share, and at the end of day, isn't that really what matters most? So, while, it may not look like the wedding day that you envisioned, and that's ok, it's still a special day that you'll remember for the rest of your lives, so don't throw in the towel, adapt and reinvent! You'll be thankful you did!

Check out Meg and Ian's elopement, in spite of their wedding being cancelled due to Covid, they decided to go for it and elope with a small group of family and friends. Judging by the look on their faces, I think it's safe to say they were happy with their decision! Photo: @emilyjenksphotography
